When fall hits the first thing I want to do is wear the coziest outfits, which kind of goes hand in hand with layering. I definitely have some staples in my closet already, but I think it is always important to add some new pieces in your wardrobe each season just to keep your looks fresh. So naturally over the weekend I picked up a few new things from my favourite local boutique Boa located at Queen East (The Beaches) in Toronto. I first became familiar with Boa Boutique when it opened up in my hometown Oakville. I used to shop there all the time but since I moved to Toronto their location at the Beaches is much more convenient for me.
So what did I pick up from the store?
The first fall staple from Boa Boutique is the oversized camel tone cardi which is a must for those breezy mornings, but also for walking Margot at night. It is the perfect length for extra warmth and it has pockets and a hoodie. I mean, honestly the perfect combo for fall. In general though I just love camel tone cardigans, and I am glad I scored this one. Boa has a huge variety of them at the moment. I also loved another style that was a red cocoon Italian Wool Jacket that was just as beautiful.
Up next, this baby doll floral top with the bell ruffle sleeves is so dreamy. I actually love wearing florals in the fall because they add that whimsical element. This floral top was also extremely comfy and roomy if I want to eat that extra burger. You know I love my pregger tops, but I feel this top from Boa Boutique has the right amount of roominess.
I love shopping at Boa because the owners (Ofra and Daphne) are always keeping the merchandise they bring at their store relevant and chic. I will admit I do shop quite often from retail chains but there is something special about purchasing clothing from a boutique store. You get that one on one attention and you do feel more appreciated as a customer. What also makes this experience unique is that I love supporting brands that manufacture their clothing in North America and Boa supports that cause as well.
