If there is an outfit that goes for every occasion, this would be it! There are so many different ways you can style your leather jacket, but I wanted to share with you the ultimate way to wear your leather jacket for spring. An outfit that is so versatile you can wear for any occasion with some minor changes depending on the occasion. Read below all of my tips as to how you can wear your leather jacket for every occasion.
Business Casual at the Office
I work in a business casual environment, so wearing a leather jacket for me to work is no problem. If anything this outfit may be considered a bit too fancy for my work, so I would switch over to flats and a tote instead. If you work in a corporate environment this look may be a bit tricky to pull off. I have never worked in a strict corporate environment think Financial District, so I am not sure what the dress code is there. Maybe go for a leather jacket that is a slim cut and also a bit longer than the style I am wearing. You may also want to switch the colour palette of your leather jacket and go for something less pink.
Brunch
For brunch, swap the heels to either flats or a pretty pair of sandals. Although that depends where you are going for brunch. If it is more of a casual vibe do the switch, if not, keep the outfit as is. If your brunch is more casual but you still want to style your leather jacket with heels I would go for a pair of nude wedges or even ones that have a nautical stripe that would add some extra colour to your outfit.
Coffee Date
I love how feminine and sweet this outfit is, but without going overboard on the romantic elements. For a coffee date, add a patterned scarf to give the outfit a bit more dimension and also switch the crossbody mini purse for a medium sized beige tote to add that everyday, casual vibe. You can also drape the leather jacket over your shoulders instead of wearing it.
Date Night or Girl’s Night Out
I would most likely go out for a date night or a girl’s night out in this outfit as is, but if you do not want your outfit to be too girly, I would add some black tones to the outfit. Either black heels, black handbag. I personally love the contrast in fabrics; the white lacy dress with the solid pink leather. The fact that this leather jacket is cropped makes it even more fun for a girls’ night out. I usually go for longer jackets but this leather jacket is perfect if you want to layer over a more formal looking dress.
Family Reunion or Baptism
I honestly wouldn’t change anything about this outfit for a family reunion of a baptism. Having a blush leather jacket makes the whole outfit a bit more dressy than your typical black leather jacket. I also added the studded drop earrings which add the extra glam element you need for an event like a baptism or even a family reunion.
There you have it. My tips of how you can style this outfit and your leather jacket to fit every occasion. Do you have any tips I missed?
