I love collaborating with brands, but one thing which I am struggling with lately is the expectation to pose like a model. I am no
model, I do not have Vogue, flawless, model like poses up my sleeve, and when you tell me to pose like
a model and do weird poses, the only thing you are accomplishing is to make me feel uncomfortable
in my own skin. When did bloggers turn into the next top models?

Brands do have a certain vision which is understandable, but if you are asking me to pose
like a flawless Kate Moss then it means you have not done your homework. Sure,
to a certain extent I will pose to help bring that vision in place, but being
super serious is just not me. I like to smile, I like to be me in photos. It is always so easy to fall into the trap
because clearly how you pose in pictures is not something you discuss with the
brand beforehand, but you assume that they have seen your pictures and they liked them. Why else would they approach you?

Is anyone else frustrated with this or is it just me?

Im so in love with that bag! I haven't had anyone specifically tell me how to pose. I wouldn't work with them if they did. Your blog is about your style and if you want to smile then you should be able to!amandabrezovsky.com

I love it – stand up for yourself! And how horrible when brands do that? Thankfully, I haven't come across such brands. But that is not a great way to reach out to bloggers – not all bloggers are the same. I just do my own thing and not try to follow a certain standard.xo,Abby of Life in the Fash Lane
