BCC App Launch

Last weekend I was invited to the launch of the new Bramalea City Centre Smartphone app, which also integrates its shopper rewards club, FashioniCITY. Melissa Grelo from The Social was there to talk about the App and to discuss some of the hottest style trends for winter. Along with Christina from The Style Mogul and Zeba, from Ella Pretty Blog, we got to style guests that were users of the Bramalea City Centre App (BCC) and give away some amazing prizes. Before promoting the App, I wanted to get a feel of what the App was all about. So I went on a shopping spree at Bramalea City Centre while using the app. Here is how it went.

I got there at 11am, but a coffee stop was in order. Second Cup! Navigating through the app, I looked under the promos section. Scrolling through the list, I saw Second Cup was offering 2 lattes for just $2.95 each. Too bad I was solo, but I’ll be back with a friend.

So what are these gems? The more gems you collect with the app, the more perks you unlock. As a shopper, it is nice to receive perks in a very fun, interactive way. This is the Candy Crush of shopping. At one point you were addicted to Candy Crush, except Candy Crush gave nothing in return to you. The BCC App does, and who doesn’t love perks and being offered promotions? Everyone wants to feel like a VIP and this is it!

I hearted my favourite shops so that I can receive perks and offers that suit my likings. I quickly stopped at Charming Charlie to grab some bling, Aldo for some comfy flats and then I headed over to Forever21. I checked under the Promos section on my BCC App again and lucky me, Forever21 was offering 10% OFF any regular merchandise if I spent $40 or more. Mission was successful and I got my 10% off. Thank you BCC App!

Next up, I wanted to head over to H&M, except I had no idea which way to go. No problem! I pulled up my BCC App on my phone searched for H&M under the store directory, selected the store, then tapped on the map icon and voila! My own personal interactive map on my fingertips. See the steps below:

The App launch was between 1-3pm at which time I got to style some BCC shoppers who are users of the BCC App, and best part they got to keep the item I styled them with. We gave over $2,000 worth of prizes and here are some fun snaps of me with some of the lucky people that stopped by.

The event was over at 3pm, but Christina, Zeba and I stuck around to give gift cards to more BCC users. Around 5pm, I wanted to go back to Forever21 to snag a pair of my favourite jeans. I couldn’t remember what time the mall was closing, but once again my BCC App came in to save me! There is a tab on the App that has all the mall info you need: hours, location and contact.

When I got home it was time to get down to business and scan my receipts. What? Scan my receipts? The BCC App is now connected with FashioniCITY rewards. Before I used to go to Guest Services to submit my receipts in order to receive my rewards which was very time consuming since my schedule is always so hectic. Now, I can just take a picture of my receipts from the comfort of my home just by using the app, and they are automatically submitted. This also helps to customize the perks and offers I receive from Bramalea City Centre.

I am a girl that is always glued to her phone and I loved how interactive the App was, receiving real time perks. Also as a FashioniCITY member, each time I visit and shop at the mall now, the more virtual gems I collect. While I was shopping, I was able to collect gems and that is when I unlocked even more perks. How amazing is that? If you have an Apple device or are an Android user download the App by searching Bramalea City Centre.

Thank you to Bramalea City Centre for sponsoring this post.

Stay tuned next week when I share with you the outfit I got from Bramalea!
