Best Friends Bucket List

We all have a bestie or two. If you are like me, your bestie is your sidekick. You talk for hours on the phone, you vent, you rant, sometimes you sit there in silence because there is so much you can talk about when you see each other everyday. You can tell her she is fat or too skinny and she won’t mind. She knows you are just watching out for her. You can tell her she is not making very smart choices, and what was she thinking texting that boy again. She drives you up the wall sometimes.

And you know when you schedule a date with her you will be spending the rest of the day with her, and I am talking 6 hours. But when you tell her you are seeing another friend or have other plans, she gets pretty curious. Who is this friend? Why have I not met her? Where are you guys going? Most importantly, why was I not invited? We all get pretty protective when it comes to sharing our bestie. Because helloooo, it is my bestie and no one else’s! Right?

You are extremely happy for her successes, you go overboard when choosing her birthday presents, you just love her and there is no other like her in the world. We always get together but wanted to start being more active in our outings, so we searched for things to do for besties. Some of these suggestions are fun.

I would like to comment on a few of these questionable suggestions.

Talk in different accents everyday

I have an accent to begin with. Must I really pretend to have another accent? My bestie on the other hand, loves her accents. She talks to me in a man’s Italian accent all the time. She loved this one.

Get Matching Tattoos

This is so wrong, on so many levels.

Take Underwater Pictures

We live in Ontario. There are only lakes here. Even if we took the pictures underwater, the water is not clear. Pictures would turn out like the Blair Witch Project. Doomed!

Carve your initials in a tree

This is just bizarre. Carving a tree is no business for a lady with a mani.

Swap Identities for a day

I see. The author is taking an “Alias” twist on this list.

Playing hide and seek in a big store.

Ok, I see a sense of adventurousness there. I can work with this.

Some of the suggestions are really fun, and we will definitely try out. The others are odd, but we are intrigued.

What do you think of this Bucket List? Are you dying to try any of these with your bestie?

Hi Lindsee! I totally agree. Some of them are a bit bizarre. I guess the point of the bucket list is that at one point in your life you may be able to travel abroad with your bestie. Hopefully that will be you too 🙂 Thanks for stopping byEleni xo

I have done a few of these things with my close friends. This is an interesting list, Eleni. I quite like it. Would I do everything on it? Probably not but many of them would be such fun to with a bestie.Sharon
