Back with my favourite tea for the holidays, and this time I decided to do a little bit or mixing for the Christmas Holidays. Because there is no Holiday Partea without Pure Leaf . Pure Leaf is real brewed tea, made from real tea leaves. That's why I love serving it during gatherings with friends and obviously to myself when I have some downtime on the weekends or I am on the go, at the gym or at the office. Real taste, for real tea enthusiasts like myself. It never leaves guests disappointed which I why I keep bringing it back into my life. As the holidays unravel, the parties are never ending so I thought why not come up with a recipe for Christmas to share with friends and family during our gatherings. A hit drink in the making for sure.
Combining some of my favourite holiday ingredients with tea; wine, cinnamon and cranberries, I came up with a Christmas Sangtea. My version of sangria. Of course, let's not forget about apples which are the ultimate fruit for making a classic sangria. So here it is:
1 bottle White Wine or Red Wine (I used White)
2 Bottles of Pure Leaf Green Tea (or you can substitute with your favourite Pure Leaf flavour)
1 tablespoon honey (You can omit if you do not want any sweetness added)
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 cup cranberries, halved
1/4 cup cranberries, whole
1 Chopped Gala apple
Combine all ingredients in a large pitcher and stir together with a large wooden spoon. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving or overnight for best flavour results. Serve chilled or over ice.
